Forge Info

My mission is to create bespoke ironwork with a rustic and rugged appeal inspired by simple ways of living. High end materials and sound techniques create high end products. The goal is to make each piece unique and keep quality at its highest level to ensure my products will continue to be passed down. All of my products are one of a kind which is due to the hand forged nature with no measuring after the first cut. These products make great gifts for anyone and are not like the cheap products you’ll find in chain stores. Shipping is set to accommodate for my shift work schedule, and every item is made to order and most of the time I can ship before the time listed depending on my schedule, this isn’t Amazon so please be patient and I’ll keep anyone who orders updated on progress. All of the tools are forged from structural steel which is carbon and will rust, BUT this is normal and is easily cleaned and easy to maintain. Keep them dry and store them dry, never use soap or the dishwasher to clean. Just hot water then dry thoroughly. Use mineral oil or my Woodland Wax which are food safe to coat them periodically. Vegetable oils will become rancid over time, so I don’t recommend them. The best way to prevent rust if to use them frequently to build a protective patina then wax the food contact end after each use.

  • Incredible product and experience from start to finish. Brian contacted me shortly after ordering with ETA of this made to order piece. Upon forging product, he sent awesome pictures of the process. The product was packed with a handwritten letter and a wax to apply to maintain and preserve. Craftsmanship and care spectacular. Truly heirloom product made by a West Virginia blacksmith and his family. You will not be disappointed.
